  • School Social Worker - Full Time-Elwood School District-2023-2024 School Year

    • SOWIC school social workers are part of multi-disciplinary school-based teams. They work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to meet the academic, social, behavioral, and emotional needs of children ages 3-21 years.
      1.00 FTE
    • Qualifications: Professional Educator License: Endorsement in School Social Work
  • School Social Worker - Full Time - .4 Elwood/.6 SOWIC Ed Center - 1.00 FTE 2023-2024 School Year

    • SOWIC school social workers are part of multi-disciplinary school-based teams. They work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to meet the academic, social, behavioral, and emotional needs of children ages 3-21 years.
      1.00 FTE
    • Qualifications: Professional Educator License: Endorsement in School Social Work
  • 5th Grade Classroom Teacher

    • Teaches District approved curriculum.

      Plans a program of study, employing a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media, that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.

      Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.

  • Substitute Custodian

    • Duties:   This person will fill in for absent custodians, as well as occasionally assist custodians with their duties – especially during evening events and activities.  $15.00/hour

    • Elwood School is always in need of Substitute Teachers for our building. Please contact the school office to find out information on being placed on our sub list. Please note, you must be registered with the Will County Regional Office of Education.
