1st Grade Teacher Paraprofessional
- Duties: Including, but not limited to:
- Discusses assigned duties with classroom teachers in order to coordinate instructional efforts.
- Prepares lesson materials, bulletin board displays, exhibits, equipment, and demonstrations as needed.
- Presents subject matter to students under the direction and guidance of teachers, using lectures, discussions, or supervised role-playing methods.
- Tutors and assists children individually or in small groups in order to help them master assignments and to reinforce learning concepts presented by teachers.
- Supervises students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, school yards, and gymnasiums, or on field trips.
- Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid IL paraprofessional license.
- Associate’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education; completed 60 semester hours of college credit at a regionally accredited institution of higher education; HS Diploma or GED and a score of 460 or higher on the ETS Parapro; or HS Diploma or GED and passing scores on the ACT Work keys.
- Salary/Benefits:
- Regionally Competitive. Discussed with final candidate.

Duties: This person will fill in for absent custodians, as well as occasionally assist custodians with their duties – especially during evening events and activities. $15.00/hour
